January, 2023

Online ACH Signup for 2023 Closing on 1/26/2023

The online signup for the payment of your 2023 Annual Assessment is closing at 5pm, Thursday, 1/26/2023.

1. To allow for validation and processing time, residents signing up between now and 1/26 will have their first payment scheduled for February 6, 2023.

2. You will receive an email confirming your successful online signup. If there is a problem with your banking information, you will receive another email before 2/6/2023 informing you of the problem, and giving you time to get corrected information back to us.

3. Late fees are not charged on 2/1 for approved and validated ACH signups.

4. If you are not able to sign up for ACH payment of your 2023 Annual Assessment, your payment is due in our office no later than 5pm on January 31st. Accounts not paid by 5pm on that day will be charged late fees and interest per the posted collections policy.

YARD OF THE MONTH CONTEST

The Board would like to announce the implementation of a yard of the month contest for the Community.

The way it will work will be as follows:

1. Homeowners will submit their nominations for yard of the month to Nallely@ColbyHOA.com

a. Nominations must be of a neighbor’s yard and not your own

b. Homeowner’s must have permission from such neighbor before submitting pictures

2. Pictures must be submitted by the 23rd of each month

3. Pictures will then be posted on the Community Facebook page for voting

4. The picture with the most likes wins. Winner will be announce on the Facebook page on the 1st of the month

5. Winners will receive a $30 Amazon gift e-card and will get to display the Yard of the Month sign in their yard for that month

6. Contest will run from July to September

Second Election Not Needed

The Spring 2021 proxy election for the remaining Board seat has been called off, because only 1 resident submitted their nomination for the 1 seat on the ballot. Jed Chen was that nominee, and his name will be brought to the Board during their 4/29/2021 meeting for replacing the last KB Home developer member.


April, 2021

Login Password Reset

All user passwords were reset on 4/4/2021 to their original default passwords. This action was necessary due to an unplanned server migration by our internet hosting provider. If you never changed your password to a custom password that only you knew, nothing has changed for you. If, however, you had changed your password, please use the original default password you were assigned when your account was created. If you do not know your original password, please call us at (512) 826-0500 and we will be happy to assist you!

NOTICE OF SECOND BOARD APPOINTMENT ELECTION

On Friday, March 26th, all owners are being mailed a 'call for candidates' packet, which also announces an election for the remaining seat on the HOA Board of Directors. An email blast is being sent as well.

Any Member interested in running for appointment to the Board of Directors by the Declarant have until Friday, April 9 at 4pm to email their candidate statements to Manager@ColbyHOA.com. Be sure to provide a brief statement about why you are running!

Do NOT use the US mail to send us your candidate info/statement, because we will most likely not receive it in time.

Also, we will be emailing you confirmation on the same day that we have received your candidate info/statement. If you do not hear from us on the same day, be sure to call us at 512-826-0500!

The new election will then start online on Monday, April 12, at Noon. Online voting will then take place for twelve days, and will end on Friday, April 23, at 5pm sharp.

There was a tie for second place, so the developer will consider the candidate statements when making their decision. Please remember, this is not an official 'Chapter 209' election for terms of office; this is to see which residents would be considered for *appointment* to the Board, to serve with a developer member, and to hold the reins until such time that an Annual Meeting can be safely held during or after the covid pandemic.

Revised Candidates Slate Set; Ballots available ONLINE ONLY

Good morning!

The second self-nomination period closed at 4pm this past Friday. Candidates were contacted and confirmed, and we believe the door flyers and broadcast email did their jobs of reaching residents when the USPS did not.

The new election process has begun. Again, because of the mail delays, voting is being done as online only, through the secure login portal on this website. Logging in to the Owners Only area will take you to the Ballot link. You will need your unique Voter Code to vote online. If you cannot find your original paper mailing that has your Voter Code, please call our office so that we can validate your identity and email your code to you.

Voting will be open until 5pm this coming Friday, 11/20! Please reach out to us if you have any questions!

Second Call For Candidates

Any Member interested in running for appointment to the Board of Directors by the Declarant have until Friday, November 13 at 4pm to email their candidate statements to Manager@ColbyHOA.com. Be sure to provide a brief statement about why you are running!

We have already contacted the previous candidates to let them know they are still on the ballot.

Board Appointment Process to RESTART

We have received calls and feedback from people that did NOT receive their mailed information in a timely manner. In the interest of being as fair as possible, we will be restarting the election process. The restart will begin with a new call for candidates. Existing candidates need not re-apply. We will post physical flyers to every front door in the community on Monday, letting people know that this process is taking place, and to check this website regardless of whether or not they get mail timely from the postal service.

Our goal is to make sure everybody is aware that the process is underway, and that they know they can check this website going forward during the timeline for updates, ballots, and results.

Community Update

Dear Residents:

As many of you know, Governor Abbott has issued the first phase of “Strike Force to Open Texas”. The Board of Directors has been following the COVID-19 pandemic closely and continues to do so. In light of the new Order, the Board of Directors has made the decision to follow the guidelines and recommendations outlined in the Order. Therefore, the common areas and amenities in the Community will remain closed at this time. The Board of Directors will review and monitor the additional phases of the Order as they are rolled out and continue to make decisions based on guidelines and recommendations. The Board of Directors understands the anticipation of the common areas and amenities being reopened. As soon as Orders indicate it is safe to do so, we will begin working to reopen the common areas and amenities. Your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated and we thank you for your cooperation.

This is the new website for the Northridge Park II HOA. This website will be where all official announcements such as Board meetings, annual meetings, and other news and information about the HOA is posted.

Governing documents are available from the link above; the contacts page tells you how to get in touch with the HOA, and if you wish to sign up for ACH withdrawals or submit an ACC request, the forms can be obtained at the links to the left.

Owners may get a personal login by contacting our office. HOA financials, account information, and more are available to owners only through their personal logins.
